TPR22-PR Pull Cord Switch

TPR22-PR(XX) Pull Cord Switch (also called a rope switch) is a conveyor belt safety accessory designed to check and shut down conveyor systems TPR22-PR(XX) series of conveyor belt pull cord switch do not require maintenance.

Materials used:

The Body structure is made of BMC composite material and it is resistant to corrosion and oxidation. Shaft mechanisms are made of stainless steel and Arm mechanisms are made of hard plastic.

Uses and Applications:

It can be mounted on the application area with a steel rope. Also, it can operate by moving on one side or on both sides of a conveyor. If the ropes are pulled from one direction, the system is locked and the switches go to the stop position, then it is returned to normal with Manual reset.

Safety Features:

Products have IP68 protection class can work in the dustiest and dirty environments. Suitable for most industrial applications like conveyor belt at coal mining , cement plant , iron&steel  factory , thermal power plants, etc..

General Description:

Dimensions are 2x50 meters standard distance to the right and left. It has a 1NO + 1NC contact structure in the standard.

What is pull cord switch in conveyor?

While the pull rope emergency stop switch is used to provide safety, this safety is necessary for both personnel and protecting the conveyor belt and all equipment around it. No matter the length or width of the conveyor belt system, it needs an emergency stop switch. Conveyor belt slippage or a completely different mechanical failure also increases the need for an emergency stop switch.

The conveyor pull rope switch is also known as the pull cord stop switch. The rope system in this switch, which has a cord, provides stopping. In order for the cord switch to stop the system, the rope is pulled and the system stops in this way. This is essential in order to protect the system, personnel and the entire facility in the event of a possible damage. Emergency stop switches in the conveyor belt system prevent large scale spreads and all material and moral damages.

There are 4 types of belt conveyor pull cord switches. It varies due to the differences in them. In particular, the contact structure may vary. Although the standard contact structure is 1NO+1NC, this contact structure can be up to 3NO+3NC contact structure. Rope safety switches made of stainless steel or aluminum body have top quality materials.
